For my Elements Of Art project I used a school camera to take pictures that would fit in each of the top categories; Value, Shape, Texture, and Line. After I took this pictures I passed them to my computer and edited them for a more drastic view of it. When I finished editing I organized them in a contact sheet that fit each one.
This is one of the pictures I used in my contact sheet for value. As you can see the flowers contrast with the dark background of the leaves. It also gives more focus or attention to the flowers. I took this picture because I liked how the pink flower stood out in contrast with the dark and the white flowers.
This picture fits in the category of shape. It has repetitive circles and colors. I took this picture outside my house in one of the plants my mom has. I picked this one as my best since it also contrast the white of the sky and the green of the leaves.
I used this picture as "Texture" since you can infer the roughness of the brick. You can clearly see the texture of it with just looking at this image. I think this picture was my best since it stands out more than my other texture pictures I took.
For my best picture of line I picked this one. Not only it fits in the line category but it can also fit in value. I took this picture in the late afternoon to give it a nice color and tone. You can see the lines contrasting the sky and leading to the flowers. This is also a tree outside my house.
